Descripción

The Wittmann family has cultivated vineyards in Westhofen since the 17th century and today stands among Germany’s leading producers of terroir-driven Riesling. Under the direction of Philipp Wittmann, the estate has become a benchmark for sustainable viticulture in Rheinhessen and is a respected member of the VDP association.

All vineyards have been farmed organically since 1990, making Wittmann one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in Germany. The estate’s 30 hectares include some of Rheinhessen’s most prestigious sites such as Morstein, Kirchspiel, Aulerde and Brunnenhäuschen, where limestone soils define the wines with freshness, tension and mineral precision.

The Estate Trocken 2023 is vinified exclusively from estate-grown fruit cultivated by hand. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in the historic underground cellar built in 1892, located six metres below ground, followed by ageing primarily in traditional large oak casks.

This Riesling expresses the classic Wittmann style: pure, linear and terroir-focused. The nose shows citrus peel, green grapefruit, yellow orchard fruit and herbal notes, while the palate combines vibrant acidity with a chalky texture and distinctive saline finish. A highly versatile dry Riesling with excellent gastronomic character and ageing potential.

Derecho de desistimiento: Según la normativa de consumo, el cliente tiene derecho a desistir de la compra en un plazo de 14 días naturales desde la recepción del pedido, siempre que las botellas se encuentren en su embalaje original y sin abrir. Para ejercer este derecho, el cliente deberá notificarlo por escrito a través del formulario de contacto, indicando el número de pedido y los productos a devolver. Los gastos de devolución correrán a cargo del cliente, salvo en caso de producto defectuoso o error en el envío.
Excepciones al desistimiento: No se aceptarán devoluciones de botellas abiertas o manipuladas, ni de productos personalizados.
Productos dañados o erróneos: En caso de recibir un producto dañado o diferente al solicitado, el cliente deberá comunicarlo en un plazo máximo de 24 horas desde la recepción, enviando fotografías del embalaje y del producto afectado. Vin Finesse se hará cargo de la reposición o reembolso del importe, incluyendo los gastos de envío asociados.

Fresh and very elegant on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, stimulating savory yet also round and finessed Riesling with great purity and excellent quality.
