Description

Els Pics 2022 blends Garnacha and Cariñena with small amounts of Syrah and Merlot from diverse plots. It fermented in concrete vats with short macerations and aged for 14 months in barrels, foudres, or concrete, depending on the variety.

The result is a modern and expressive Priorat, rich yet refined, with aromas of blackberry, plum, and strawberry jam, intertwined with cocoa, sweet spice, and balsamic hints. On the palate, it displays ample volume, rounded tannins and a persistent finish, with an enveloping and refined texture.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Time: Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. Expedited options are available at checkout. We can provide an invoice for business buyers.
Shipping Areas: Shipment to continental EU *ONLY*. NO shipping to the UK/IRL/ISL or any other island outside or within the EU. *
Tracking: A confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order is shipped.
Delivery Conditions: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an address where the order can be received. If delivery cannot be completed due to reasons attributable to the customer (incorrect address, repeated absence, etc.), reshipping costs will be charged to the customer.

Returns Policy

Return Window: In accordance with consumer regulations, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the order, provided that the bottles are in their original, unopened packaging. To exercise this right, customers must notify us in writing via contact form, stating the order number and the products to be returned. Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer, except in the case of defective products or shipping errors.
Withdrawal Exceptions: Returns will not be accepted for opened or tampered bottles, or for personalised products.
Damaged or Incorrect Products: If you receive a damaged product or one different from the item ordered, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt, attaching photographs of the packaging and the affected product. Vin Finesse will arrange for a replacement or a refund, including any associated shipping.

UNCORK THE EXTRAORDINARY

“The regional red 2022 Els Pics was produced with Garnacha, Cariñena and small amounts of Merlot and Syrah from different vineyards and soils. The wine achieved very high ripeness in the warm and dry year, reaching 14.7% alcohol. It fermented in concrete with a short maceration and, depending on the variety, matured in barrique, foudre or concrete for 14 months. It has a nose of strawberry jam, and it's rich and juicy, tender and with fine tannins, easy to drink. 60,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2024.”

Mas Alta purchased two new vineyards in Poboleda and Porrera in 2024 and are introducing a new limited-production rosé from the Les Roques area, located within the Sierra del Montsant Natural Park. They now work 72 hectares of vineyards, mostly in La Vilella Alta, and have been 100% organic since 2009. They have the help of consultant Michel Tardieu. Production averages 150,000 bottles. The whites feel fresher and lighter than they have in previous occasions and the reds with less impact from the oak.
