Artigas 2022 comes from the lieu-dit of the same name in La Vilella Alta. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, with one-third whole clusters to add freshness and structure. Each variety ages separately in barrels for 16 months, followed by a final four-month refinement in concrete. An essential benchmark of Priorat.

Description

Artigas 2022 is one of Mas Alta’s key wines, produced from Garnacha, Cariñena and a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation in concrete and the partial use of whole clusters add freshness and structure, while 16 months of barrel ageing shape its texture and complexity. After a final refinement in concrete, the wine stands out for its balance, clear fruit definition and absence of excess. It is a solid, contemporary interpretation of Priorat.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Time: Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. Expedited options are available at checkout. We can provide an invoice for business buyers.
Shipping Areas: Shipment to continental EU *ONLY*. NO shipping to the UK/IRL/ISL or any other island outside or within the EU. *
Tracking: A confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order is shipped.
Delivery Conditions: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an address where the order can be received. If delivery cannot be completed due to reasons attributable to the customer (incorrect address, repeated absence, etc.), reshipping costs will be charged to the customer.

Returns Policy

Return Window: In accordance with consumer regulations, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the order, provided that the bottles are in their original, unopened packaging. To exercise this right, customers must notify us in writing via contact form, stating the order number and the products to be returned. Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer, except in the case of defective products or shipping errors.
Withdrawal Exceptions: Returns will not be accepted for opened or tampered bottles, or for personalised products.
Damaged or Incorrect Products: If you receive a damaged product or one different from the item ordered, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt, attaching photographs of the packaging and the affected product. Vin Finesse will arrange for a replacement or a refund, including any associated shipping.

“The red 2022 Artigas comes from the lieu-dit of the same name in their village and is made with 60% Garnacha, 30% Cariñena and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It fermented in concrete with one-third full clusters (the Cabernet fully destemmed) and matured separately in barrels for 16 months, then it was blended and put in concrete for four more months before it was bottled. It's ripe and heady at 15.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.4 and a balanced mouthfeel. The wine doesn't show heat, alcohol or any excess ripeness. It's juicy and has fine tannins, clean flavors and a dry finish. 30,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024.”
