Description

The vineyards of Fèlsina Berardenga stretch across ventilated slopes in Castelnuovo Berardenga, southeast of Siena, at 320–420 meters above sea level. Soils are diverse: rocky quartz and calcareous alberese with alluvial pebbles in higher areas, sandstone and loam near the Crete Senesi.

After hand-harvesting, selected clusters are de-stemmed, pressed, and fermented in stainless steel for 14–16 days at controlled temperatures, with daily pumpovers and punchdowns. Maturation takes place in medium Slavonian oak barrels and reused French oak for 12–16 months, followed by assembly, bottling, and minimum glass aging of 3–6 months.

This Riserva exhibits a core of cherry, pomegranate, and raspberry, layered with Tuscan scrub, iron, vanilla, and tobacco notes. Dense yet poised on the palate, it reveals fine structure, medium body, and elegant tannins. The finish is long, flavorful, and precise, highlighting the unique terroir of Fèlsina. The 2021 vintage displays complexity, nuance, and depth, with black cherry, leather, spice, menthol, and licorice.

Returns Policy

Return Window: In accordance with consumer regulations, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the order, provided that the bottles are in their original, unopened packaging. To exercise this right, customers must notify us in writing via contact form, stating the order number and the products to be returned. Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer, except in the case of defective products or shipping errors.
Withdrawal Exceptions: Returns will not be accepted for opened or tampered bottles, or for personalised products.
Damaged or Incorrect Products: If you receive a damaged product or one different from the item ordered, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt, attaching photographs of the packaging and the affected product. Vin Finesse will arrange for a replacement or a refund, including any associated shipping.
